So happy to be back home in Las Palmas! I see the city hall has chosen ‘A tale-like Christmas’ as this year’s motto. Right on!
If you’re around, make sure to check out the festive program:
Of those events, I’d say the highlight is the Los Gofiones concert tonight (Dec 23rd) at the Plaza de Santa Ana. Entry is free; just make sure you arrive there at least 30 mins early to get your seat. If you can’t make it, remember that Christmas in Spain lasts until the Feast of the Epiphany (Magi’s day) on January 6th, so there’s still plenty more to see and enjoy.
Most other municipalities have similar programs as well. In particular, Arucas and Gáldar always stand out with their street lighting, decorations, and activities. If you’re seeking a more relaxed Gran Canaria experience, these places offer the best family-friendly vibes on the island during the holiday season.
Have fun!
